Samuel Eto`o banned for 15 matches
It is really not the best time for African Football legend Samuel Eto'o following his ban by the Cameroonian Football Association for 15 matches for his part in a players strike.
The Cameroon captain, 30, has 10 days to appeal against the ban.Vice-captain Enoh Eyong received a two-match ban, while Tottenham's Benoit Assou-Ekotto was fined $1,980 (£1,276).
The federation said Eto'o was banned for "violating the internal regulations of the national team relating to loyalty and obligation of participating in a match".
Samuel Eto'o, in his role as captain, incited his team-mates to refuse to travel to Algeria," the Cameroon football federation (Fecafoot) said on its website. The federation's disciplinary committee added that the midfielder Enoh also "lacked respect for the vice-president of Fecafoot".
Cameroon surprisingly failed to qualify for next year's ACN in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, and their new coach, Denis Lavagne, has just started rebuilding his squad
Cameroon begin their bid to reach the 2013 Nations Cup finals against Guinea Bissau on 29 February, with the return leg of the tie on 17 June.
They start their quest to reach the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with a match on 1 June against DR Congo.
Eto'o is the most decorated player in African history having won the European Champions League three times during his time at Barcelona and Inter Milan.
He has been named African Footballer of the Year four times and won an Olympic gold medal with Cameroon in 2000.
We hope he renders his appeal as proposed till then we keep our fingers crossed and await the reaction of the football superstar.
The secret about living a life you desire
There was an argument I happened to witness in which a group of friends were talking about life and a comment was passed across by one of them which struck my heart and prompted me to write this because life I believe is all about what you believe and what you believe determines your environment and what you make out of the short time you have in life. One truth I have found out about life is no one is born at the top so the top is free for anyone who is ready to pay the prize but the secret is that those who succeed are ones that do the ordinary things in extraordinary way and ones that were able to identify problems and put in efforts towards getting a solution to them. A lot of us today desire to be one of the greatest men and women that ever lived but are not ready to take up responsibilities.
Responsibility to me is being accountable for, You need to understand that you can never achieve anything until you learn how to take up responsibilities no one will understand how much you worth until you show it. Whatsoever you want to achieve today is a responsibility and for you to get to the desired height you need preparation. You have to understand that you build the future you want today, there was this popular telecommunication advertisement in my country that I loved so much one of them was MTN which said "you can achieve what you want to achieve" and then Globacom advert went ahead to say " its all about you". We have always believed the saying that some are just born great but I tell you there is an atom of greatness in every human it is just about YOU. You are the only limitation and the only competition you face is your mindset. Success is achieved when preparation meets with opportunity what everyone know as "luck". One thing is to desire the other is to work ahead of time I wonder why on earth would one want to be something he is not prepared for. Every second of your life is a journey to your destiny and what you make out of it is what determines your position in life.
Let me draw your attention to the fact that intelligence is just a part of the criterias to success but not all you need to succeed. You can die with your intelligence without achieving nothing. Responsible people have character. My favorite book the bible says something "the race is not for the swift nor the battle to the strong neither bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all".
People who understand the phases of life and prepare accordingly will always get ahead in life. There is a secret to being the master of the universe. My biggest role model Benjamin Franklin one of the greatest men that lived understood time management. Time is life therefore time must be considered the most precious thing that we own. The great thing about time is that we have total control over how it is used. To master time is to take maximum control over your life.
You want to be most influential, popular, richest etc but you do not want to take responsibility, recognize and seize opportunities and make the best use of time and then you will be deceived with a saying " Life is not fair". Understand that everything in life is governed by laws and principles.
Quit existing and start living a life.

Homosexuality is not African
The fund was announced by the US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, even as the US President Barak Obama issued a memorandum directing American agencies worldwide to combat the criminalisation of LGBT worldwide.
These signposted the likelihood of a diplomatic showdown between Nigeria and the US, against the backdrop of last week’s passage of an anti-LGBT bill by the Senate.
The Senate had by an unanimous vote on November 29 outlawed public displays of affection between gay and lesbian couples and spelt out a 14-year jail term for any persons involved in same sex marriage.
It also prescribed a 10-year jail term for persons who abet or aid such unions as well.
But Clinton, who spoke at the United Nations in Geneva, said the GEF would help civil society organisation
Clinton, who received a standing ovation at the end of her speech, said LGBT rights were universal human rights.
"It is a violation of human rights when people are beaten or killed because of their sexual orientation, or because they do not conform to cultural norms about how men and women should look or behave.
"It is a violation of human rights when governments declare it illegal to be gay or allow those who harm gay people to go unpunished. It is a violation of human rights when life-saving care is withheld from people because they are gay, or public spaces are out of bounds to people because they are gay," she said.
She rejected those who believe that "homosexuality is a Western phenomenon and therefore people from outside the West have grounds to reject it."
She added, "Being gay is not a Western invention. It is a human reality.
"Gay people are born into - and belong to - every society in the world. They are all ages, all races, all faiths. They are doctors, and teachers, farmers and bankers, soldiers and athletes," she said.
Earlier, Obama had directed all American federal agencies to ‘combat’ the crimininalisation of the rights of lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender persons worldwide.
Obama’s memorandum
The US president’s memorandum on the rights of LGBTs, the first since he was elected in 2008, specifically directed the agencies to do everything to protect LGBTs in their countries or origin or residence and provide temporary refuge within the US embassies, as a first step.
The seven-section memo is titled, ‘International Initiatives to Advance the Human Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Persons’ and is directed to agencies involved with foreign aid, assistance and development.
They include the Departments of State, the Treasury, Defence, Justice, Agriculture, Commerce, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, the United States Agency for International Development, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the Export-Import Bank and the United States Trade Representative.
He ordered them to incorporate the protection of the rights of LGBTs in US diplomacy and foreign assistance.
In Section 1 titled, ‘Combating Criminalisation of LGBT Status or Conduct Abroad’, Obama directed the agencies "to strengthen existing efforts to effectively combat the criminalisation by foreign governments of LGBT status or conduct and to expand efforts to combat discrimination, homophobia, and intolerance on the basis of LGBT status or conduct."
The implication is that the agencies would have to take necessary steps, including sanctions and suspension or withdrawal of existing or fresh aid and assistance to Nigeria and any country involved in the criminalisation of LGBTs.
The second section titled, ‘Protecting Vulnerable LGBT Refugees and Asylum Seekers’, states, " Those LGBT persons who seek refuge from violence and persecution face daunting challenges. In order to improve protection for LGBT refugees and asylum seekers at all stages of displacement, the Departments of State and Homeland Security shall enhance their ongoing efforts to ensure that LGBT refugees and asylum seekers have equal access to protection and assistance, particularly in countries of first asylum. In addition, the Departments of State, Justice, and Homeland Security shall ensure appropriate training is in place so that relevant Federal Government personnel and key partners can effectively address the protection of LGBT refugees and asylum seekers, including by providing to them adequate assistance and ensuring that the Federal Government has the ability to identify and expedite resettlement of highly vulnerable persons with urgent protection needs."
A country of first asylum is one in which an asylum seeker has been granted international protection as an asylum seeker or a refugee.
In Sec. 4, ‘Swift and Meaningful U.S. Responses to Human Rights Abuses of LGBT Persons Abroad’, the US president directed the Department of State to "lead a standing group, with appropriate interagency representation, to help ensure the Federal Government’s swift and meaningful response to serious incidents that threaten the human rights of LGBT persons abroad."
As if anticipating a rash of lawsuits around the world on the memo, Obama added a caveat, "This memorandum is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person."
‘No possibility of US/Nigeria rift’
Reacting to the development, the Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Prof. Bola Akinterinwa, said he did not foresee any diplomatic tussle between Nigeria and the United States on the account of the memo.
He described the bill as part of the country’s ‘municipal law’ which he said was different from international law.
According him, the municipal laws of a country are meant to be obeyed by all agencies and persons residing in the country where such laws are in operation. He said anybody, including foreign envoys, who contravenes the municipal laws can be convicted.
He said, "There is no problem there at all. First of all America has laws, Nigeria has laws. Those laws constitute what they call municipal laws. Municipal laws are quite different from international laws. International laws are also referred to as law of nations. The International law is the one governing all the nations of the world, whereas the municiapal laws govern the affairs of each country.
"If Obama is asking US agencies to promote gay rights or lesbian rights, they can do so. There is no problem as long as they will not infringe on the municipal law of their host countries. If they do, they will be tried based on the municipal law and they will be guilty."
Senate insists on anti-gay law
Meanwhile, the Senate said on Tuesday that Obama’s orders would not change its position.
Reacting to the memo, Leader of the Senate, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN), said Nigeria remained a sovereign state that would not pander to the cultures of any foreign country.
Asked if the passage of the bill would not create a diplomatic row between both countries, Ndoma-Egba said, "Nigeria is an independent nation; we are a sovereign state. We have our own values. We are not going to tie our indigenous values with the values to other nations."
He said it was necessary for Nigeria to focus on making laws for the good governance of its people, rather than get influenced by other nations on how to make laws or what laws to make for its people.
"How many states in the US have legalised same sex marriage? Why can’t they start from inside their own country before going out to other countries," he said.
Canada and the US Embassy in Nigeria had last weekend deplored the Senate’s passage of the bill.
British Prime Minister, David Cameron, had also threatened to suspend aid to countries engaged in the criminalisation of LGBTs rights.
However, during the debate on the bill, Senate President David Mark had declared that Nigerians would not trade their values for aid.
"If there is any country that does not want to give us aid or assistance just because we want to hold on to our values, that country can keep her aid and assistance," he said.
The question is why are they trying to rule out laws for Africans? Is it so in countries like China? Homosexuality is an abuse on nature`s initial purpose for sex therefore a huge abnormality. What the people involved needs is a help to quit the dangerous addiction not to pass laws that can help to kill them all the name of making them happy by believing the practice is normal. Will a mother allow a baby to hurt itself with a razor because she does not want him to cry if its withdrawn from him? The answer is NO then why should we help kill our own people?
Nigeria is a country that if well managed would not need to fall on any foreign aid for anything. Time has come when the western world accept the fact that Africa is an independent continent with its own morals, values and beliefs and is not moved by any threat from anyone. We are waiting for the worst that can come from the so-called westerners. Nigerians still insist that homosexuality is imported and cannot be accepted in the society. Awaiting the law to be fully passed and executed with immediate effect.

The beauty of womanhood
In order to answer this question:
We have to rediscover the original purpose of the female
The purpose why God created her.
The female can only be fulfilled when she understands the purpose for which God created her.
To know the purpose of a product, you don't ask the product its purpose, but rather you read the Manuel written by the producer concerning the product or you ask the producer the purpose for his product.
The Manuel here is the Bible and the Producer is God.
Back to the producers Manuel(BIBLE).....................
The Woman was created to be a Helper......... Genesis 2:18.
The Woman is given the same name which the Holy Spirit is called(HELPER).
As a woman you are meant to be a helper to your husband not a controller.
Femininity is not in the outward appearance, is of the heart, a calm and gentle spirit is the characteristics of femininity.
The Holy Spirit our helper is Gentle, Kind and Compassionate. He does not take over our lives but rather he helps us to do what we are doing, that is why if you don't plan when you have all the opportunity to, and you are praying Holy spirit take over is wrong, for HE was design to help.
Same with the woman, you are not to detect to the man(husband) but to suggest and help him. The woman was design to help. She(recreated woman) has the characteristics of the Holy Spirit that is why the man(husband) needs her help.
TIPS FOR MEN:
You don't need a woman when you have nothing doing, for she was design to help.
If you have nothing doing you are going to abuse her nature and curse more problem for yourself. Adam had something doing before God gave him a Helper(Eve).
"Ladies be careful, never say yes to a man you cannot help".( In order not to abuse your purpose).
Haven known that the original purpose of the Woman is similar to that of the Holy spirit, Being a woman is made easier. In order to be a real woman you have to fashion your life to that of the Holy Spirit, make Him your role Model and cultivates and bear His fruits in you.
There is no woman who is bearing the fruits of the Spirit and has a perfect relationship with Him, that will have a problem with humility and submission which is the true characteristics of the Real woman.
Special thanks to my Pastor Sufficient Bien.

Homosexuality gradually paving its way into African community
The United States expressed concern over legislation in Nigeria that bans homosexuality marriage.
“The United States is concerned about reports of legislation in Nigeria that would restrict expression, assembly or organisation based on sexual orientation or gender identity,” a statement issued by the US embassy said.
“The United States believes that all people deserve the full range of human rights and opposes the criminalisation of sexual relations between consenting adults. The United States is watching this matter close
The bill spells out a 14-year jail term for anyone entering into same-sex marriage or civil union.
Those who abet or aid such unions could receive 10 years, as would “any person who registers, operates or participates in gay clubs, societies and organisations” — a provision that seems to target gay advocacy groups as well.
The bill sets out a 10-year sentence for “any person who … directly or indirectly makes public show of same-sex amorous relationships”. David Mark the senate president insisted on passing the bill despite the threat from foreign nations responding to the threat rendered by British prime minister Cameron that the British government would withdraw their aid at refusal to legalize homosexuality.
The issue is that Nigeria is a country with morals and religious beliefs which cannot be compromised. In as much as democracy is assumed to be the order of governance in Nigeria, we still have a culture and at that cannot give it up just because of the present world trend. It is obvious some laws can successfully work in some part of the world but doesnt in others because of difference in culture, beliefs, values and Nigerian values are different from that of those foreign countries fighting for gayism right. Nigeria as a country does not believe in gayism and lesbianism and it has never been the order of the day so if the majority of citizens are satisfied with the law then I guess we do not need any foreign interference because the law is meant to govern us. Homosexuality to me is an abnormality and a mental problem if well traced because nature made it that opposite genders should attract so same gender attraction is working against the law of nature.
We expect the government of Nigeria to act in a manner consistent with those laws.

Every bride wants to look her very best on her wedding day and after the initial excitement of choosing the all-important dress the next thing on the bride's mind will be her hair style and which wedding hair accessories to choose for herself and her bridesmaids.
Consultation with the hair stylist who is going to style her on the big day is a good first step, to discuss and get advice as to which adornment would be most suitable for the hairstyle chosen. An experienced wedding stylist will have a wealth of experience to draw on and can give professional advice on the merits of the different adornments available. Consideration should be taken to the wedding dress design as the theme of this can be used up into the hair. For example; if there are seed pearls on the dress then pearls in the hair would be complimentary. Perhaps the dress is stunningly plain then maybe a bold hair decoration would look good.
To complete a princess look, the ever popular tiara encrusted with pearls or crystals can be worn with ease and will help to raise a veil off the hair slightly, making the veil flow gently away from the bride's face. The tiara also holds the veil back beautifully off the face for the wedding photographs and sparkles for all to see.
Hair vines made of fine wire dotted with diamante, pearls or flower buds twisted through the hair and positioned firmly in place with invisible hair clips can simply look very becoming twining their way randomly through the hair or concentrated at the side, back or front of the head; delicate and slightly understated can look charming.
Wedding hair accessories can be a single statement piece such as a decorated comb sparkling with crystals or laden with seed and drop pearls; or a crocodile clip heavily ornamented with a crystal flower or maybe feathers. These accessories do not have to be white because sometimes a bold colour will add a little extra sparkle to the overall outfit and there are many variations to choose from.
To complete the look of the bridal party, the bridesmaid's hair styles and wedding hair accessories should not be forgotten. For younger bridesmaids, flower buds on clips or a hair vine are a good choice, being lightweight and easily held in place all day. For older bridesmaids or a mixture of ages with different hair lengths and styles, one of several stunningly decorated hair bands with crystals, pearls, feathers or rose buds in colours to complement their dresses are appropriate.
Of course the bride and the groom's mothers must not be forgotten and in case they have decided upon a hat, the most appropriate accessories for them have to be the fascinators. They can be bejeweled, feathered, ribbon and net or a floral creation; completely suitable for any type of hair style and in colours to complement their outfits as these easy to wear wedding hair accessories are perfect for these ladies.
